About Efficiency Innovations

Efficiency Innovations is an independent publication examining how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are being applied across modern businesses. Coverage includes AI products, business applications, AI agents, enterprise systems, management strategy, productivity, financial impact, implementation, risk, and governance.

The purpose of the publication is to provide practical analysis of what rapidly changing technologies mean for business. Coverage examines each development from the perspective of practical business use: what a technology actually does, who should care, what implementation involves, what it costs, and whether it is worth evaluating now.

Editorial Independence

Efficiency Innovations is independently published. Analysis is based on primary sources, published research, and vendor documentation, with statistics attributed and limitations discussed openly. The publication accepts no payment from the companies it covers, and editorial conclusions are not for sale. Any future advertising will be clearly identified as such and will remain separate from editorial content.

The Editor

David W. Koran

David W. Koran

Efficiency Innovations is written and edited by David W. Koran, a cybersecurity and compliance consultant and author. His consulting practice advises businesses on cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance, and he holds ISO/IEC 27001 certifications as an auditor and in implementation. He is the author of The CMMC Decision and Cybersecurity in the Marine Transportation System.

That background shapes the publication's approach: technology claims are treated as things to be verified, controls and governance are treated as design requirements rather than afterthoughts, and analysis is written for the executives who have to make the decision rather than the engineers who build the systems.
